Artist in Residence Application Form

1. Your practice — up to 200 words

Describe your arts practice, themes, materials and processes.

2. Work goals — up to 500 words

Summarise your current objectives, relevant exhibitions/projects/publications/reviews or peer support, and how the Grace Butler Memorial Foundation Award at Ara will assist your development.

3. CV — PDF

Include your education, exhibitions, awards/residencies, collections, gallery representation, publications and reviews.

5. Referee — PDF

Letter of support from someone familiar with your practice, including their contact details.

4. Image details — PDF

Provide a separate list. Number each image and provide its title, year, materials and dimensions.

6. Artwork images — JPG

Select up to 10 works of art that best represents your practice, particularly work from the past 18 months.

A non-refundable $25 application fee must be paid by Direct Credit. The fee covers administration of the Award and does not contribute to the prize money. All fees include GST.
